We receive thousands of ponytails every year, but only a small portion of donors include financial support. Each ponytail costs $150 to prepare for wig production. This includes sorting, measuring, cleaning, and making sure the hair is ready to be transformed.

A completed human hair wig requires 5–9 ponytails and costs about $1,500 to create.
