About this event:
There’s no better gift you can give to a cancer patient than the gift of hair! Real hair wigs can be extremely expensive, and by donating hair, we can help make free wigs for cancer patients.
We’re partnering with Salon Dione for the second time, to make a difference in the world of cancer. Our goal is to host this event every two years so the same group of gals, and more every time, can come, have a great time, and do something that can so help a cancer patient. After all, they need the hair more than we do. And the best part is, it grows back!
Hair donations are mailed to Hair We Share, an organization that donates real hair wigs to children under 18 and adults facing financial hardships. Most wigs go to people who have medical conditions or chemo-related hair loss, or who have experienced trauma (like burns) that prevent hair regrowth.
Hair must be 8” or more.
When determining length, please consider split and damaged ends will be trimmed away.
Hair cannot be highlighted but can be dyed.
Gray hair is ok.
Curly and wavy hair should be kept in its natural pattern and not blown straight.
Hair must be clean and completely dry.
The amazing Salon Dione stylists are giving complimentary hair cuts & styles for all who donate. And of course, there’s no cost to donate.
The coolest thing about donating to Hair We Share is their Ponytail Tracking Program! Within 6 months of receiving donated hair, they’ll send you a photo of your hair in a wig. Although it is not likely, whenever possible we they’ll provide a photo of the recipient of the wig. Please know that most patients prefer to remain anonymous due to difficulties they face during fragile times in their lives.

Come enjoy light snacks, refreshments, music, girl talk, and a feel good about your gift!
