This sweet boy MADE THE CUT for his cousin who has alopecia. He donated his hair and started a fundraiser to sponsor his hair being made into a wig! We will be saving his hair for his cousin the next time she needs a wig! Here is what he wrote:
Last year my cousin, Bailey, was diagnosed with Alopecia areata and really wanted a human hair wig to help her feel better. My family and I really wanted to help, but we were also getting ready to move across the country. Once we moved and settled, I wanted to make sure my hair was plenty long and healthy enough to donate, and last month I finally “Made The Cut”! Bailey has already long since received a great wig from Hair We Share and she couldn’t be happier, but I still want to donate my hair so that someone else can experience that same happiness.
Making human hair wigs is not easy, or cheap, though! Hair We Share donates the wigs they make to those in need for free, but they still need money to be able to make wigs out of all the donated hair they get. That’s why along with my 13 12″+ ponytails that I’m donating, I’m also doing this campaign to raise funding for turning my hair into a wig for someone in need.
Every little bit that you can give will go a long way in helping someone suffering from some form of hair loss feel better about themselves again, even if it’s just by sharing this campaign with your friends and followers online. Any help that you can provide will be greatly appreciated.
We are so very grateful, Thank you sweet boy! The world needs more of you!
Since starting Hair We Share our lives are touched daily by these dynamic children who are so eager to help. Their hair is a part of them that they can give and it is truly a wonderful experience. We need financial donations to go with the hair so that we can actually make the wigs, which there is a huge expense involved.
We have made it really easy to start a fundraiser to make a wig.
All monies contributed go directly into the costs of making wigs from hair donations.
